Prince William personality astro-chart

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, was born 21 June 1982, London. This is an astro-chart for the noon of that day.

Sun 30’ Gemini
Moon 4’ Crab
Mercury 8’ Gemini
Venus 25’ Taurus
Mars 9’ Libra
Jupiter 30’ Libra
Saturn 15’ Libra
Uranus 30’ Scorpio
Neptune 25’ Sagittarius
Pluto 24’ Libra

To be born during the Summer Solstice is sometimes like being born with a silver spoon in one’s mouth, the highest position in the astro-chart. On top of this, there is a New Moon, or No Moon scenario that may be quite quirky for others to understand or simply relate to. This is William's strength. You will find not very many people to go through life with such congruent honesty.

Notice that his Moon position is at the same position as his mother, late Princess Diana.

Sun - Persona
Sun 30’ Gemini

Sun is our overall external personality which we usually take from a father figure in our formative years. To some extent it shows our father's personality (or rather how we perceive it). It shows our vitality, areas of life-interest and how we approach life in general.  It has the most important influence on all the other planets.

Sun on the cusp of Gemini/Crab is very visible. Prince William has the sense that whatever he does or is - it is out there, for others to see. This can be quite a challenging position in life, as the inner radiance coming from personality, the high position of Sun may often be taken for granted, and fall down may occur. This of course depends on many circumstances - both outside and the inner world. We always have the choice to follow our best or worst layout. Anyway, feeling quite special is natural for this Sun position.

Moon - Soul
Moon 4’ Crab

Moon is our internal personality. Moon is connected to what we have learned from our Mother in the very early age of our childhood. Thus it is directly responsible for our programmed instinctive behaviour,
care, nurture and support we need and give away, and level of intuition. It shows - to some extent - our mother's character (or how we have perceived it), how and when we feel most safe and secure, and in what areas lies our innate sense of belonging.

Moon aspects shape our innate personality - instincts and habits - a direct mother influence. Moon conjuncts Sun which means it is a Dark Moon - shadowed by the Sun dazzle and in tune with its energy. This, again - can be a huge blessing or a curse. A very strong identification with the feminine side will produce a tender nature of high empathic abilities. What is quite unique - there is no different ‘face’ in the private world - Prince William does everything the same, there is no false acting or pretence - what you see is what you get. This sincerity, if not a bit self-conscious and in control may be quite daunting. But it seems not to be the case with William. This is also due to the tactful energy of the Sign of Libra.

Mercury - Intellect
Mercury 8’ Gemini

Mercury is how our mind works and its influence is most pronounced in our late childhood years - when we start to learn and recognize things. We are surrounded by many people but most of all we are interested in our peer group or siblings. We learn from them, we are interested how the 'dynamics' of this larger community works and how we can communicate with it. Thus, Mercury shows - the early age environment, ability to learn, areas of interests, and communication skills.

Mercury in Gemini is about connecting with other people on many levels. The intellect is quite in motion, in need of interesting stimulation, such as conversation, learning new things; highly minded and moral. Good reasoning skills, logic, and brainpower provide the ability to speak with authority

Venus - Heart
Venus 25’ Taurus

Venus is the planet of love and attraction - in broad terms - what we love, how we love, and who we love. We are quite early aware of what we are appreciative of - in things and people. It tells us about the early teenage years when we were growing up to learn about love for the first time - and how this carries out on through our life. It tells what we value in love relationships.

Venus in Taurus - in almost the same spot as his mother, Princess Diana. This, of course, created a special intimate bond. Wiliam's brother, Prince Harry, has Moon in similar position. Venus in Taurus is a very pleasant, sensual, comforting, placid, tranquil energy. He values the material side of love, and gestures of tangibility - the gentle, soft, loving touch is all important. Taurean Venus enhances one’s own self-worth, and being in the XI Mansion shows that he truly enjoys engaging in social interactions.

Mars - Will
Mars 9’ Libra

We meet Mars energy in our late teen years - when we learn to be confident in our behaviour and participate in life through in action. Mars describes how we act and behave while facing the life challenges and everyday situations.

Mars in Libra with the company of strong protectors and father figures of Jupiter and Saturn. His behaviour and deeds are not only in line with his harmonious upbringing, he is truly well-behaved. Because of the positive vibe of his natal Sun, he was able to take only the good character traits from both parents and other people around. Truly remarkable, honestly genuine sense of fairness, tact, taste, respect, and status quo. A huge amount of conformity may be a dull side but not in his case. He is proper in every act without posing.

Jupiter - Role
Jupiter 30’ Libra

Jupiter is a planet of our growth, expansion, encouragement, allies. In the young years we are inspired by a particular set of values or roles we imagine to play in life. When we reach maturity - the Jupiter years - we should be able to play this role - it is part of our natural calling.

Jupiter with Saturn are both great assets in his birth chart. He does need company, and enjoys it and vice versa - other people relate to him in a very benevolent way. Social conscience, courtesy, cooperation, fair play are present equally in both worlds - public and private. There is no differentiation - the same ideals, roles, goals are exercised here and there, because all those Libra planets are in the IV Mansion, relating to close home environments.

Saturn - Lore
Saturn 15’ Libra

Saturn is a planet of Destiny.  The primal 'Lore' is what we are born with,. This is where we start our life: in what background we grow up (hardly we can choose it), and what is the main task 'to master ' in our existence.  The second 'Lore' is what we are becoming in our old age, and the 'Lore' we are eventually leave behind.  Saturn has to be always carefully considered with the Sun and Moon Sign and its aspects.

Saturn
in Libra with accompanying Jupiter, would be a perfect just, fair and impartial judge or arbiter. Saturn is shadowed by Pluto and Mars, and this being in the Sign of Partnership and most of all - marriage, as well as in the IV Mansion, responsible for intimate domestic life, means there are some troubles within this domain. He is not perfect, nobody is, and Saturn - as with most horoscopes - is challenging Williams' general status-quo in life.

Apart from that, the Duke of Cambridge leads a truly symbiotic life on almost every level. He is so legit.

Uran - Neptune - Pluto
Generational Planets

Generational planets give us a social and historical background. They stay in one Zodiac Sign for several years, shaping the views, opinions and general vibe of a generation. They have less personal influence but if they are engaged in primary aspects, they have an impact on our psyche.

Uranus 30’ Scorpio, Neptune 25’ Sagittarius, Pluto 24’ Libra

The generation planets: UranusNeptune, and Pluto tell the story about the historical background we are born into.

The Rows:
Upper Row - Moon - Sun - Mercury - when you first meet a person, you sense the configuration of this upper layer.
Middle Row - Venus - Jupiter - Mars - is what you get to know about a person when you spend some time around them. This is a family/friends circle.
Under Row - Neptune - Saturn - Uranus - is what is most hidden, and you know the Shadow of the person when you know them really well (we consider Pluto position as well).

The Columns:
Left Column - Moon - Venus - Neptune - the soft, feminine, inner side, when a person is relaxed and in private.
Middle Column - Sun - Jupiter - Saturn - the person's public image, often a career.
Right Column - Mercury - Mars - Uranus - the harder, masculine side, showing the outside dealings with the world, communicating, doing, behaviour, what others in close circle experience while with the person.
