Astrology is a beautiful and interesting subject. It is a tool to Know Thyself and others. It may help to understand ourselves better - from a different perspective. It can give us more meaning behind life on Earth.
I use a slightly different, more relaxed approach to astrology. My aim is to let people who have no clue of astrology - to see their astro-chart and to know straightaway what is going on and why. This is particularly informative while comparing your own horoscope with those that are close to you. For this reason, the Wheel stays in the same position for each person.
It allows more clear and direct look at any birthday horoscope, compare it with family members, friends, partners, coworkers - and explains the atmosphere, the vibe that seems to be imprinted in our psyche - on our first day on Earth.
As the Sun, Moon and other planets go round the sky (the ecliptic) they pinpoint a segments of time where we are born. They relate to our personality traits.
Zodiac Wheel and the Tree of Life (for the Notthern Hemisphere of the Earth) |
Each Zodiac Sign has a set of 'tasks', 'needs', 'interests', 'talents' or 'tendencies'. Understanding our own astrological chart, and those of others - allows us to know and understand ourselves more, accept differences in others, and to live life more in tune with who we truly are and to respect others.
In general, people who have in their astro-chart planets in the upper part of the Wheel are more self-centered, yet outgoing, extrovert, optimistic, risk taking. People who have planets in the lower part of the Wheel are more introverted, yet socially aware, contemplative, resourceful.
