Two Forces:
Male and Female in astrology simply refer to the active and passive energies in nature. Close connection with the Yin and Yang in Chinese philosophy. Each sign is either more passive or more active. Sun and Moon's strength tell the same - more influential or more influenced? Venus and Mars represent love and anger, Jupiter and Saturn - expansion and limitations.
