Tarot is not only about divination, it hardly ever is, actually. It looks at a current state of affairs, often revealing what is hidden (unconscious), and what are the best probabilities of what is to come - and often - if we are curious enough - how to go about it. No hard drive destiny. Always a choice, even if in limited conditions.
For years, however, I have been curious myself if Tarot was only such a passive tool. it did not make sense, that it only showed 'what is' and not being able to 'make things happen' - to have its active side 'activated'...
I started using Tarot cards in meditations and ceremonies, as a focus point - the beautiful images are what our subconscious loves most. Not words - but pictures, images, scenes, and colors. This stirs our imagination - the doorway to the creative part of our subconscious, through which conscious manifestation may occur.
