The Vibrations Spread is a way to look at our current vibes in a quite detailed way. This can be a part of the Transformational Spread where we use two or more Tarot card decks involved.
Here, use only one Tarot deck. Choose one deck that has scenic pictures in the Minor Arcana, not only images of coins, chalices, swords and wands. Have this deck always in order, so you can easily perform the Spread.
Place yourself and the Five Elements of the Tarot in the below order:
In the South -Swords
*
In the East - Chalices * In the Middle - Major Arcana * In the West - Wands
*
In the North - Coins
For the best attunement and alignement - sit facing the South, having the North behind you, the East on your left, and the West on your right. This is the way of the Sun.
This is highly symbolic for our subconscious mind as we consciously choose to be in the natural flow of life energy.
Pick intuitively one card from each of the 5 piles, starting with the bottom, where the Coins should be.
The Coins and the North are the Earth element, and a symbol of what has already been manifested in our life. It is sort of behind us, but is the background in our life, still visibly, tangibly present. We may only reflect on what has been happening, we cannot do much about it. This is the most material reality that all of our senses perceive - right now.
The Coins also relate to the means by which we can feed and maintain our Body and our physical reality (health and home). This is the vibrational state of our material possession and financial situation, through which we can take care of our physical needs. Thus it also relates directly to our physical health and the whole material situation.
The Chalices and the East are the Water element and reflect our Soul - the emotions and feelings that flow through our body and - around it. Sometimes we are flooded with emotions (either positive or negative), sometimes we are in a more peaceful or neutral state. Chalices show us our mood, and the state of our relationships, especially the most important ones.
The Swords and the South are the Air element. This is the part of us that we most identify with - the Mind. That which thinks, the one that conveys thoughts, logic, reason and judgement. The intellect.
Most of us are subconsciously submerged in a continuous inner dialogue, continuous inner commentary, and only at times we make a conscious effort to come to clear conclusions and decisions.
This is the part of us that is in a constant conflict (hence Swords) of words (S-words), as many opposing thoughts may battle for our attention. This is also the part of us that we need most clarity (thus we face the South, the most bright part of all the directions) - to get clear answers, to make informed decisions, to recognise and understand a situation with reason and logic, instead of confusion, to make a clear cut of what is needed and what is not.
Thousands of thoughts are flying and flattering chaotically through our mind every day, and unless we practice some form of mindfulness - we are driving ourselves on auto-pilot or simply - mad. This is why The Swords are such a dire element in Tarot.
The Wands and the West are the Fire element. This is our Will, our actions and behaviour. This is the result - the harvest - of the vibes of our body, emotions, and mind. If all of those elements are in harmony, we may produce the best results.
Major Arcana are a way of the Spirit and to the Spirit (the Whole). They are not the Spirit itself but a state of vibes that show us what kind of connection we have to the Spirit and the whole of our life situation - through our body, soul, mind, and will. It is the most invisible and mysterious part of ourselves - the Higher Self, - that some of us seek through religion, meditation, inspiration, intuition and insight.
Here, they are a helping hand in showing us what type of connection we have with our Higher Self. And even if we have achieved a level of embodying our Higher Self - there is still one more ;) to explore.

This spread can be further investigated if the cards seem to be unclear to you. It is best to use an additional deck with all 78 cards picked up randomly and intuitively, next to the cards that you need further explanation.
